A trip Culzean Castle
The Ukrainian community in North Ayrshire had the unique opportunity to explore one of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks — Culzean Castle. With support from the Scottish Refugee Council, our group enjoyed a memorable educational trip, surrounded by breathtaking views, ancient architecture, and vibrant gardens.

A Day to Remember
Our journey took us to the dramatic cliff-top Culzean Castle, a masterpiece of the 18th century designed by Robert Adam. Set above the west coast of Scotland, the castle offers a perfect blend of history, architecture, and natural beauty.
Surrounded by lush woodlands, coastal views, and peaceful gardens, the castle welcomed us with its elegance and grandeur. Families walked along woodland trails, children explored new playgrounds, and everyone took a moment to appreciate the peaceful sea breeze.
The interiors of the castle are filled with stories — historical artifacts, artwork, and rooms that once belonged to noble families. It was a day not only of learning but also of connecting — with Scotland’s heritage and with each other.
This special outing reminded us of the power of community, exploration, and gratitude. Thank you to the Scottish Refugee Council for making this unforgettable experience possible.
